Installous: UNINSTALLED

                For all the I Phone users out there, a very sad news had been delivered to all its users, the piracy community Hacklous had been shot down including their most popular application Installous which offered access to free, pirated versions of premium apps developed for Apple's iOS platform.

"We are very sad to announce that Hackulous is shutting down," reads a post on the Hackulous homepage. "After many years, our community has become stagnant, and our forums are a bit of a ghost town. It has become difficult to keep them online and well-moderated, despite the devotion of our staff."

            Installous is an application that provide users with jailbroken Iphones to download free applications from various sources. It is more like an Apple Store but it’s just free for the users. Some applications, which can be downloaded in Installous, are newly released especially game apps. After an hour of its release in the Apple Store, it will definitely be free in Installous.

            It has been said that the shutdown of Installous is linked to the emergence of a new application called Zeusmos, an application that provides users with a license and provisioning profile that allows them to install pirated apps; it is available for free on jailbroken devices or sold as a premium download for non-jailbroken units. It is like Installous but in a better way. It does not require you to jailbreak your iOS devices.

            "The intent of Zeusmos will be to SOLELY code sign applications," the app's creator, 15-year-old Kevin Ko, said in a statement. "We will not be supporting or encouraging any form of piracy through the link providers or even via search (although they were based off the iTunes API). The intents as I have stated was to allow open development for developers. Recently I've had the time to add this feature into Zeusmos called the 'Exclusive Apps' section where developers who got their application rejected in the App Store were able to post their application on here for free and share their application to a large audience of users. Such applications even included Grooveshark and many others."

            As of now, due to the loss of Installous, a lot of applications came in to prove as alternative to Installous. But so far, Installous was the best app ever to those jailbroken iOS devices. It is hard to say this but Installous: uninstalled!

Good news chocolate-lovers! Studies show that chocolates can also have a good side. Researchers recently discovered the ingredients in chocolate that can fasten up your metabolism. So readers who wish to start having a like to this food, well then, good for you.

Even though chocolate is known for its big calories, it contains ingredients that may give you weight loss rather than fats, as scientists believe.

A lot of scientists have suggested that chocolate may be healthy for us. Other studies have claimed chocolate may be good for the heart. Especially dark chocolates, these contain antioxidants which can help in cleaning up harmful chemicals in a human's body that can damage our cells.

Researchers from US believe that antioxidant compounds, called catechins, can improve lean muscle mass and reduce weight.

While there's no harm in allowing yourself a treat by eating chocolate now and again, eating too much might be harmful because it often contains a lot of sugar and fat too. But just so you know, studies didn't take into account the health of the people who eat chocolates, only their weight.

And if you really want to be on a diet, you still benefits more by still eating fresh fruits and vegetables.

Upside Down Movie

 

 

Upside Down is a  romantic fantasy film directed by Juan Diego Solanas which was released in the theaters last 2012.

It all started when Adam trespass a lot that was not supposed to be entered by humans because that area is where 2 planets can almost touch each other. Two planets live next to one another. The gravity has 3 rules:

1. All matter is pulled by the gravity of the world that it comes from, and not the other.
2. An object's weight can be offset by matter from the opposite world (inverse matter).
3. After some time in contact, matter in contact with inverse matter burns.

These worlds are separated from one another and  they are not allowed to communicate from one another illegally unless they work or pass through the company called "Transworld".

People from down below are known for its poverty due to a war that happened. People from up above are known for its wealth and living in a paradise as what people from down below interpreted.

As Adam trespass, he met a girl named Eden, a girl from Up, and tried to talk to her. They communicated so long that when they grew up they became an item. One day, they were caught by the guards and right in front of Adam's eyes, Eden fell to the ground in the planet Up which was around 3 floors away.

Years had passed and Adam has no whereabouts on Eden until he saw her on TV. Adam immediately applied in Transworld where Eden works without thinking on what the consequences will be if ever he will find her there. But at last! He saw her but there's a big problem. She got amnesia.

Will Eden remember Adam? If she does, how will they work their relationship since they came from different worlds. Find out on how the story will end by purchasing a copy of this movie. It is thrilling and Jim Sturgess, Adam, is so cute that you can't keep your eyes off of him. Kirsten Dunst, who played the role as MJ in Spiderman, is Eden.

T.G.I. Fridays

The month of February is coming and for sure a lot of couples are swarming to reserve seats in their favorite restaurants for a date. Even families would like to go out and celebrate because February is not just for couples but as what they’ve said, ”It’s for all the love in the world.”  

During the past few years, the city of Cagayan de Oro has been improving and a lot of good dining restaurants were emerging. Nothing beats a well-ambiance dining experience with the person you love. As for me, it’s more of just giving a review but I want to help people out there choosing the best restaurant to go. With the opening of Centrio Ayala Mall, it also opened one of which I consider a good dining restaurant, T.G.I. Fridays.

Why is it called T.G.I. Fridays? As we all know Friday is the day were people try to celebrate or have rest after 5 days of working as well young people to go out and have after days of relentless studying. It is basically a fun day, a rest day or a happy day for everyone.  That’s why T.G.I. Fridays would like to give you the best dining experience not just only on Fridays but every day. The restaurant stands for their tag line, “In here, it’s always Friday.” But before considering to eat at T.G.I. Fridays, it is for me to warn that very good dining experience comes with a price and I quote it ”a price!” To maintain their best possible service as well as food, T.G.I. Friday’s prices are quite high. But to risk for it for someone special, well it’s a small price to pay for her/his smile.

End of the World, Not Yet Over

 

 

    Last 21st of December 2012, masses of people are gathering to witness which was predicted as "Doomsday", the end of the world, the what so called "Apocalypse". But after 24 hours of waiting for the "Doomsday" to happen, many were a little bit disappointed by the fact that it is not yet the end of the world.

    The so called "End of the World" which supposed to happen on December 21, 2012, I should say is a misunderstanding of people about the what that date truly means. December 21, 2012 is said by the Mayan's as end of time. And end of an old age and a beginning of a new one. Mayan is a civilization inhabiting of what is now Southern Mexican States. They are renowned for their knowledge in Mathematics, Astrology, Architectures and most of all their calendar which is the based of the December 21, 2012 prophecy. The important part of the Mayan Calendar is the long count which consists of 5,125.36 years from a mythological starting point which will end on December 21, 2012. The day also falls exactly on what we call "winter solstice", the shortest day of the year where the sun is and the earth is almost aligned with the center of the milky way. Days have passed since December 21, 2012, the world didn't experience any catastrophic events which signifies the end of the world. A lot of people telling that is just a lie, a hoax which makes people panic and believe in false information. Blaming the Mayan is way out of this since it is us who interpret the Mayan calendar the wrong way. But what if the Mayan's missed the exact date?

    Well it's up for us to discover. For those who are out there still doubting that the end will come this December, it is better to be ready than to regret when the end comes.
